If something has gone wrong, it helps to include which device you are using, its iOS or iPadOS version, and a screenshot or share code of the box where it happened.

Common questions

What is the difference between the web taster and the full game?

The free taster at tumblegrain.com/play has 14 of the 84 materials, plus rewind and undo. The full game on iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo has all 84 materials and parts, the logic parts, eight challenges and a daily twist, 39 discoveries, autosave and saved boxes, sharing and video clips, haptics and Apple Pencil support. You pay once and everything is unlocked. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.

The app for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo is coming soon. Until it is out, the taster is the way to play.

Where are my creations saved?

On your device. The app saves the box you are working on automatically, so it is still there when you come back. You can also save a creation as a .tumblegrain file to Files or iCloud Drive, or share it as a code or link. Creations that are only stored in the app are removed if you delete the app, so save the ones you want to keep as files first.

The web taster doesn't save your box. It only remembers a few settings, such as whether you have finished the tour, in your browser on that device.

I have a new device. Do I need to buy the game again?

No. Sign in with the same Apple Account and download Tumblegrain again from the App Store at no cost. To bring creations across, save them as .tumblegrain files in iCloud Drive and open them on the new device.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I can't feel the haptics.

Check that System Haptics is turned on in Settings, under Sounds & Haptics. Haptics are only available on iPhone.
